Check the <A HREF="http://www.http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks/parks/laurelhill/laurelhill_mini.pdf" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="http://www.http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/s"><U>Laurel Hill Park Map</U></A> for trails and directions.  Laurel Hill also has a large sledding area in the lower campground area and a good portion of the campground is skiable. The<A HREF="http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks/parks/laurelhill/laurelhilllodge.aspx" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks/p"><U> Laurel Hill Lodge</U></A> may be rented in the winter for groups. The lodge will sleep 14 guests in five double beds (pull-out couches) and six twin beds (bunk beds). The lodge has three bathrooms (two full, one ¾), one and one-half kitchens, recreation room and laundry. </div> <bR> <div> <A HREF="http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks/parks/kooser.aspx" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks/p"><U><B>Kooser State Park</b></U></A><B> </b>on PA Route 31, approximately 8 miles west of Somerset, PA, borders on Hidden Valley's property and has approximately two miles of easy sometimes-groomed ski trails.  A very scenic park where the ski trail circles the lake and follows a small stream crossing occasionally on small wooden bridges.  Parking area is plowed in the winter, there is no charge for skiing, and <A HREF="http://koosercabins.com/" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="http://koosercabins.com/"><U><B>winter rental cabins</b></U></A><B> </b>are available. <A HREF="http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks/parks/maps/kooser_mini.pdf" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks/p"><U>Click for Park Map</U></A></div> <bR> <div> <A HREF="http://www.hiddenvalleyresort.com/" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="http://www.hiddenvalleyresort.com/"><U><B>Hidden Valley</b></U></A><B>, </b>just west of Kooser SP, is basically a downhill ski area.  At the barn on Route 31 they is now the snow tubing center.
